For the determination of surface composition, contaminant analysis and for depth profiling
Hiden's modular CATLAB-PCS offers a wide range of experimental tools for catalyst researchers, from rapid dynamic screening to fully automated precise investigations of active surface chemistry and optimisation of catalytic activity.
Overview
The CATLAB-PCS performs analysis using temperature programmed methods such as TPR, TPO and TPD. Pulse chemisorption is also available with the CATLAB-PCS. The integrated QGA mass spectrometer system provides for quantification of the adsorbed/desorbed species. Physical analyses such as metal surface area, catalyst dispersion and surface acidity/basicity are provided.
All CATLAB-PCS and mass spectrometer sampling wetted surfaces are designed to have the widest possible compatibility for use with aggressive species.
Hiden Analytical’s HPR-20 QIC R&D mass spectrometer is available for coupling to existing catalyst reactors with integral analysis software available for TPD/TPR/TPO quantification.
A range of specialized connectors and couplings optimise integration with the reactor vessel.
