Pra.Ma is proud to announce to have been appointed agent/distributor by Altamira Instruments for their full range of products.
Founded in 1984, Altamira Instruments is a manufacturer of catalyst characterization instrumentation and bench-scale micro-reactor systems for industrial and research use.
Altamira offers a variety of custom designed and fully automated reactor systems. From instruments that conduct temperature-programmed characterization (TPR/TPO/TPD) to Microreactors designed for a specific chemical process, Altamira can provide the instrument solution to your laboratory needs.
Characterization instruments of the AMI family have been installed at more than 300 locations around the world. Among these installations are leading national laboratories, influential academic catalyst research groups and major chemical research centers. Altamira Instruments is a company started by and is still staffed by catalysis people.
Pra.Ma will exhibit with SPECS at the Magnet2017 conference in Assisi, from the 13th until the 15th of September. Come and visit us at our stand.
From the 27th until the 31st of August, Pra.Ma will be exhibiting with Hiden Analytical at EuropaCat 2017. It is the largest conference on Catalysis in Europe and it is a biannual event.

The Hiden ExQ gas analysis system features direct real time multi-species analysis and quantification of gas and vapour related processes. Systems are highly adaptable with configurations suited to sampling directly from pressure regimes in the range 100 mbar through to 30 bar, with a wide dynamic range extending from 100ppb through to 100%. The soft-ionisation mode minimises molecular fragmentation for simplification of spectral data, with individual mass channels each programmable to preferentially optimise the intensity of the specific species of interest, ammonia in water vapour for instance.
The bench-top mass spectrometer systems are coupled to the user process by a robust, flexible, quartz-lined heated capillary with sample consumption rates as low as 1 mL/min and response times down to 150 milliseconds. Process interface options are suited to diverse application areas including top-gas analysis, multi-stream monitoring of gas feed and process exhaust lines (up to 80 individual gas streams), process and thermal reaction studies, respiratory analysis.
System operation, calibration, data acquisition and display are fully automated, with full manual control selectable when required. Integral I/O’s permit import of external data, temperature for example, for integration with the mass spectral display and export of process data for external process control functions.
