The high performance Ultraviolet Source UVS 10/35 is ideally suited for ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy on solids (UPS). The patented design of the discharge chamber results in high intensity and facilitates easy ignition with extremely stable operation of the discharge. The UVS 10/35 operates without filaments. This makes it an economic and at the same time easy to handle UV-source, as it needs no exchange of used up filaments. Also the low power consumption of the source with at the same time high output power adds to the economic advantages of the source. No water-cooling is necessary, air-cooling is sufficient.
