Product description:
The Single
Filament Cell SFC-MOLYBDENUM is one version of a special effusion cell
which features a hot area entirely built from molybdenum. It is
designed for the evaporation of materials such as gallium, aluminium or
copper etc. in atmospheres containing sulphur or nitrogen where the
standard material tantalum would be damaged. Molybdenum wire is used
for the heating system and PBN rings for the electrical isolation.
Molybdenum sheets are used as radiation shields.
