Software for tip characterization and true surface image reconstruction. Deconvolution tool makes your sample image to be real. What is deconvolution?Deconvolution is a kind of inverse task solution. Let us recall that an AFM image depends not only on the sample surface topography but also on the probe tip geometry that is unknown in most cases. Deconvolution is a way to determine the real geometry of the used probe and to restore true surface imaging. How does it work? The special grating TGT1 should be used to monitor the geometry of the unknown probe tip. TGT1 has an extremely regular asperities with the strictly known geometry. Then the obtained AFM image of TGT1 is analyzed by the special software DECONVO and the real probe tip geometry is reconstructed. This data is stored and any other image obtained with this probe can be corrected the same way. How does it look like?
How much does it cost?
The deconvolution program Deconvo1_1 itself is FREE of charge! To get it via e-mail please fill up your contact details. How can I know more about deconvolution?
